Chamonix is known by all those familiar with winter sports. This French resort destination is highly rated and offers some of the most skilled terrain around the world. Brévent/Flégère, Grands Montets and the Balme are the three ski areas of Chamonix. Each area offers different levels of difficulty and gives users multiple options. Looking at a picture of Zermatt you are stunned at its beauty. A region known for moguls, Zermatt offers four different areas for skiing. Vail has consistently been rated as one of the best ski resort in North America and its beauty compares to the world’s best resorts. In the spring and summer with rising temperatures hiking those same ski slopes is a great option, as is cheaper lodging in these off-season months.
The Vail Village which is all walked by foot offers shops, restaurants, and bars each having their own beauty. The Bully Ranch Restaurant has long been known for its Definitive Burger – a bison burger that is served with amazing bread. Having traveled to Vail on multiple occasions I must point out the unbelievable taste this burger possesses.
