The Mountain
Courchevel has one of the best linked resorts in Europe. The resort is made up of Les 3 Vallees, and is one of the biggest ski areas in the world. The runs, like in Mammoth ski resort, vary in difficulty too, with a good balance of easy, intermediate and advanced runs. There are even great skiing options for children and runs that very new skiers will be comfortable on. The off-piste skiing is another really fantastic part of the resort, and can be explored with mountain professionals who are familiar with the lay of the land. The ski areas in Courchevel are accessed by 180 lifts which include 2 cable cars, 33 gondolas and 38 high speed lifts. With all of these lifts, it means you’ll never have to wait in line to get back up on the slopes. Finally, when you go you are guaranteed good snow, regardless of the snowfall that season as the resort has an extensive snowmaking program making for guaranteed great skiing.
Dining
In Courchevel, the on-mountain and off-mountain dining options are endless. You will find all types of cuisines from cafes to Italian to traditional to fine dining and everything in between. This is also one of the few ski resorts that has multiple Michelin star restaurants such as The Chabichou and Le Bateau Ivre. For some really delicious regional fare, check out Le Bistrot du Praz in Courchevel 1300 where you can sample top notch foie gras and other local delicacies. Après Ski
Once the lifts close, this is the time to enjoy the lovely après ski that Courchevel has to offer. In town you will be able to relax in one of the many bars, pubs, tearooms or restaurants. Later on, head out to sample some fun, late night party spots where you can throw back a few drinks with friends while listening to live music or dancing away to local DJs.
